Evian G7

Prepare for G7 2026 Restrictions in Évian-les-Bains

From 15 to 17 June 2026, France will host the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains. To ensure the security of this international event, exceptional measures will be implemented from 11 to 17 June across a large part of the Chablais area.

These measures will impact travel, access to certain areas and traffic conditions. This page will be updated regularly to keep you informed of the latest developments.

How the G7 in Évian will affect your travel

Throughout the duration of the security measures, traffic will be heavily disrupted around Évian, Neuvecelle and Publier, as well as on the main roads across the Chablais area. The following measures are expected:

Systematic checks at the entrances to restricted areas,
Significant traffic congestion, particularly on the RD1005,
Temporary road closures,
Longer travel times.

Alternative routes will be put in place. You are advised to plan your journeys in advance.
A strictly regulated red zone

This zone will cover the Summit venue and its immediate surroundings around the Évian Resort. Access will be restricted to official delegations, authorised residents, accredited professionals, essential services and individuals with justified urgent reasons. Non-residents, including pedestrians, will not be allowed to enter. Traffic and parking will be prohibited within this area.
A controlled-access blue zone

A wider zone will cover Évian-les-Bains as well as parts of Neuvecelle and Publier. A G7 PASS will be mandatory for all users wishing to circulate or park within this area. The PASS will be personal and may be presented either on a smartphone or in paper format.

These zones will be active from Thursday 11 June at 00:00
(Wednesday night to Thursday) until Wednesday 17 June at 20:00.
